People arriving sometime tomorrow. My place is a tip. I’ve got ds to sleep finally and I can’t be bothered to move.

I used to stay up all night a clean if people were coming. I need to do this! It really is a tip.

Please say something to motivate me!
Please!

Come, I’ll do it with you! I’m going to tackle my living room first, see you in 15 min!

Pick up any rubbish (throw it in the bin). Ditto crockery and cutlery (either wash up or put in dishwasher if you have one).
Paperwork can go in a neat pile to be sorted later. I hide mine in a drawer.
Clothes can either go in your washing machine or a linen basket if you have one.
That should sort most of it, and should be achievable.

How much of your house will they be likely to see? If they aren't going to see the bedrooms then prioritise your living room, kitchen and bathroom.

Tonight: wash the dishes, wipe the kitchen surfaces and clean the floor. Clean the bathroom sink and any other surfaces. Put toilet cleaner down the loo. Quick tidy round in the living room - make piles of papers and put toys away. Do 30 minutes maximum before you go to bed.

Tomorrow: final tidy round in the living room, dust and hoover. Wash the breakfast dishes. Clean towel in the bathroom.

I’ve done most of the house, it looks fine. All I need to do is dust and hoover and mop the floors tomorrow.
Good luck :)
