I'm rushing to get to the hospital from work. GP have taken 4 year old DS straight to a&e

DS complaining of a sore head, clutching at it. One eye blinking and twitching. Vomiting and in a state

All sorts going through my head. Meningitis? He's halfway to hospital now and I'll be there in half an hour

TIA

Migraine maybe?

overagain · 18/10/2018 20:27

Doesn't sound like typical meningitis symptoms. More migraine type symptom.

Bless you, he’s in the right hands. Try and keep calm, you will be with him soon. Thinking of you Flowers

Eye blinking can be a sign of sensitivity to light, sore neck etc.... they just take every precaution but could well be a migraine. He’s in good hands op Flowers good luck

Quartz2208 · 18/10/2018 20:44

Does he have a fever?

ItsalmostSummer · 18/10/2018 23:28

Oh that’s scary. I get it. You are in the safest place at hospital. Always speak up your fears and concerns - mothers instinct. Wishing you and your son well

QuestionableMouse · 18/10/2018 23:30

I get a twitchy eye when I'm not feeling well or I'm really tired. It's nothing to worry about (according to my gp)

GiveMeAllTheGin8 · 18/10/2018 23:32
