Haha definitely! I was just thinking the same. I’ve had radio 2 on all afternoon, normally switch it off until Simon and Jo come on at 5pm.

I dunno, I was unreasonably irritated by Craig Charles this afternoon. It felt like he was all hyper and as though he was adding to my stress. I can't find any radio station I like in the afternoon. I drive a lot for work so like to change according to the time of day.

I don't miss Steve Wright, but I loathe Craig Charles. He tries too hard and he isn't nearly as clever or good as he thinks he is. His voice gives me murderous rage.

Although I certainly don't miss Steve Wright, I dislike Craig Charles even more. I don't like his music choices, and I find his presenting style too frenetic.

I'd like Liza Tarbuck and Ken Bruce to share the whole schedule between them.

Oh I love his music tastes. I love Supervets voice maybe we should give him a show.

Jo has grown on me.

God, I was only thinking this afternoon how I can't wait for Steve Wright to come back. Craig Charles is just awful.

I absolutely love Steve Wright. I’ve also listened to him for years, since I was about sixteen, but I do enjoy it when Craig Charles stands in from time to time. His music is fabulous.

Not as keen on the Simon Mayo/Jo Whiley combo - I preferred Jo Whiley on her own evening show!

It's so nice not having Steve on the radio. I would cheerfully listen to just about anyone but him. I loathe him. He is so unfunny and quite frankly bloody irritating. Wish the BBC we put him out to grass. So many other good she's out there or just have permanent guest presenters. Please no more serious jockin

I prefer SW to CC. SW sounds totally at ease and comfortable on the radio. So he should, the length of time he's been there.

I love Craig Charles and was relieved to hear him, not SW on the radio. Most often I end up switching the radio off as I’d rather drive in silence than get wound up. His accent, what’s ‘trending’- if I wanted to know (I don’t) I’d go online. Factoids- I know most of it already, thanks, and what I don’t know is not particularly illuminating. Sycophantic interviews. Just shut up and play some music! Aaaaaaargh. Him, Steve Lamacq and Giles Peterson are the most annoying people on the radio.
