So without wanting to start another Brexit shit storm, I’m in the cautious camp and not booking our usual summer holiday to the Costas until we know what’s happening. In the event that the travel issues don’t get sorted or prices sky rocket I’ve been looking for UK alternatives and would be grateful for any recommendations.
We have two DS, aged 15 and 12. DS2 is a bit of a thrill seeker, likes his theme parks. DS1 doesn’t like the rides but will happily watch. DS1 is quite sporty. DH hates London so an extended city break to there is out. We’ve done holiday cottages in the past but I think we really need to be somewhere there’s a bit of action. Out in the sticks wouldn’t suit us. I have looked at Centerparcs which I think the boys would enjoy and they could go off and explore and there are lots of activities but it’s very expensive when you factor in the cost of said activities. But anywhere similar would be good.
We’ve been to the Lake District several times, and to Wales, Devon and Cornwall so somewhere different might be nice. I was thinking of the south east to maximize our chance of decent weather.
So-over to you vipers!! Any suggestions?
