Save my Disney dreams!

After a 25 year wait I am finally going to Disneyland tomorrow. Or perhaps not.

I have been up since 6 with an upset tummy. No sickness or cramping. How do I get rid of this quickly so I can travel? I’m sipping water, no caffeine, resting up all day and just had a bowl of plain shreddies. Any other tips please??

Excitement maybe? I always have diarreah before travelling.

I’m usually a good traveller! I’m definitely excited it’s a dream come true (sad I know). My mum couldn’t afford to take me as a child so being able to take her now means a lot. This is why I have to go!!!

Still feel wretched. Was sick this afternoon now sucking on some ice as I’m so thirsty but drinking water makes me feel sick again. I’m not usually a swearer but FUCKING FUCKING FUCKITY. Feeling a bit sorry for myself.

You will probably be ok after a night of sleep x

Bunnyhop1502 · 18/10/2018 18:03

I’ve just taken some paracetamol as headache is getting quite bad. Just sipping water, resting. I’ve been asleep in between bouts. Divine intervention would be very welcome right now.

Poor you☹️
Being sick does get it out of your system as soon as possible.
Fingers crossed for you.

Bunnyhop1502 · 18/10/2018 19:03

I’m scared to say this but - I think I feel a bit better...

I’ve checked my travel insurance and I’m covered if I absolutely need to cancel. I’ve never been sick like this before! Not through two pregnancies or IBS flare ups. I keep looking at my weekend bag and my euros and welling up. I feel like an absolute melt ☹️

Claim on your insurance if this isn’t normal nervous tummy for you. Your infectious for 48 hours after the list dia and it’s selfish to spread it around disney and transport. Not only will it ruin other people’s dreams but disney is full of seriously ill people from wish children to those trying to make last memories. What makes you feel awful will hospitalise them.

If you booked with disney directly sometimes they will move it on medical grounds, other times you need to do it through your insurers. I’m genuninely so sorry your dream might have to go on hold for a little bit but at least you will still get there
