Potty training.. is 27 months too young?

Ahh I really want to potty train dd. She’s telling me when she’s poo’d and when her nappy is full. But she hates being naked! She actually had a wee on the potty this morning after watching potty videos on YouTube. I want to get her some pants. How do you do this? She still has a nap in the day.
She can say “wee” and “poo” but her vocabulary isn’t amazing.

Help please!

We are going on a mini holiday in the uk next month should I wait until after?

My dd was into pants at 27 months and also didn’t have great vocab. She was more than ready and I think has only ever had 3 or 4 accidents and they were in the first few weeks. I wouldn’t worry about the holiday, if they’re ready I tend to find it’s done and dusted in a few days. I carried on putting pull ups on for naps and bedtime and for a few weeks times long journeys around naptime so she’d have a pull up on anyway as would nap in the car.

Not too young at all if she understands when she is weeing, when she needs to see and what the potty is for.

Let her choose the pants as if she really likes them she will want to keep them clean, explain that they aren't nappies, if she wees in them she will get wet and you will need to take them off her to wash them and that she can use the potty or toilet instead, like mummy does.

Make sure you remind her regularly and let her know when you are going to the toilet so she sees how normal it is.

(Have a large supply of cleaning cloths, antibac cleaner, dry pants/skirts/tights/trousers etc. And a huge supply of patience, understanding and encouragement)

Good luck x

Not too young my ds was nappy free at 24 months, he took to it easily and was even dry at night

Don't think it's too young....?!?! I'm planning on potty training DS at 18 months as he already knows when to come to me for a nappy change and says poo and wee. So think 27 is certainly not to young?

My children always followed me to the loo, as they do, so I had a potty available to them as soon as they could follow really, we never had any stressy potty training at all because they just naturally progressed to it from wanting to sit like mummy. We had a few accidents as is expected but it seemed so much easier than other potty training. They were all dry by the age of two at nights as well.
