This is my beast. He’s been so mentally scared by the abuse he suffered at the hands of his previous owners that he needs totally knocked out to be groomed. My poor baby. The vets and staff are absolutely terrified of him. Nope, I’m not joking. We adore him and know his ‘triggers’, but I would never trust anyone else with him, as he can inflict serious damage. He’s a teeny tiny savage and we adore him.

Pretty little dog Perf. How could anyone ill treat him? Athough I've heard the little ones can be the worst, little Yorkies and daschunds. My Sophie barks a lot and savages people's ankles but she's all bark and no bite. So far!

He’s had his back damaged, his nose broke, starved and other horrific injuries. He’s the sweetest wee thing if you know how to handle him, but if he goes off on one, due to pain with arthritis or fear, he will literally chew on you. The worst was when I first got him and he bit my face and literally chewed on my ear. I can probably wear a few extra earrings in that ear now. 😁

There are only certain people allowed to handle him, because he is unpredictable if you don’t know him. I own a doggy daycare/holiday business and can say he is the worst dog that ever came through my door, but if you know how to handle him, he is the most loving, devoted wee dog.

Oh @postivelyperf my beautiful girl is the same. She did not know what it was to walk on grass ( she was approx three when we adopted her) she is terrified of any noises but I worship her

It’s heartbreaking to read about the dogs who’ve been so badly treated.

My boy Billy was from Dogs Trust, he was born there after his badly abused parents were rescued. I hate to think what would’ve happened to the puppies had the parents not been rescued. We got Bill when he was 8 weeks old, but DT had to work with the parents for well over a year before they could be introduced to the public for rehoming (together) as they were so badly affected.

This is my beautiful boy Barry. His racing name was Bernie Scripps. He was 11 last week - I re-homed him when he was 5. He's the perfect hound really (apart from being the reason I'm up at this time - he needed a wee). We adore him.

This is Jetta. Rescued from the rspca about 6 years ago, they thought she was around 2 at the time. They didn't know what breed/s she is.

The princess, our beautiful rescue mutt. She's very shy and sweet, and as happy mooching around at home as hiking through the hills. She's a perfect fit to our family.
