That absolute sinking feeling

When your DD asks for her special teddy at bedtime and you realise it's been left at ballet! She thinks she might have left her in the shops.

At least I hope it's at ballet - teddies are allowed in to sit on the window and watch them dance. So she PROBABLY brought her out. I was waiting outside in a seating area and it's busy with kids getting shoes on and the next class waiting to go in. I'd been to Penny's so DD was nosing in the bag and started to carry it using both hands (so she didn't have Bella then I don't think).

We went to Tesco and then home.

She just realised at bedtime she's missing

I feel a bit sick!

We lost Rabbit on holiday. It was like a death. We figured he’d been scooped in the laundry. Me and DH swung into action. Every member of the hotels management was notified that there was a €50 for whoever returned him. He arrived home the following day hardly looking himself without the Marmite stains but none the worse for a spin and dry.

The heart wrencher was DS confidently saying as he cried himself to sleep “I know you will find him mummy”.

TSSDNCOP so pleased you got Rabbit back! My mum bought Bella in the hospital shop so plan B is to go and see if they have any more!
