Job application muck up

Argghhh applied for my dream job last night (after 10 years of SAHM). Woke up today and realised I've missed off loads in the covering letter.

Would it be bad form to send an email explaining? Or just accept that I'm not going to get it?

What do you have to lose. Write the letter. Good luck !

What have you missed off, specifically?

I'd suggest really going through the letter again, maybe getting a friend to read it, before emailing again. You might just be panicking! 😆

I could have elaborated a bit more on a question and probably added a bit more as to why the company ethos appealed to me so much.

Just nervous. Didn't know I wanted a job until I saw it!

I probably wouldn't, in case you are just in a flap and actually your application is fine.
It's a box-ticking exercise, so do you think you have evidenced each of the selection criteria? If you have, just leave it.

Through to the next stage! 2 written tasks to complete by 9am Friday. My brain is in overdrive.

Thanks for the replies. Glad I didn't send another email now!

Hi! @JesusDontWantMeForASunbeam
How did you get on with the tasks?
When will you find out if your application is being progressed?

Good luck
