Traditional photo albums?

Does anyone still get their photographs printed out and put them in a traditional photo album rather than getting a photobook made?

I prefer looking through actual photographs - just feels more personal to me but am looking for some advice on what type of album (traditional stick in using cornermounts, self adhesive or slip in).

Can anyone recommend a brand of photo album? I like the ones that are bound like books. Thanks!

Yes, I like to.
I like the ones where you slide them in to space in the album - not stick in.

I like the self adhesive and have some plain black from WH smith as they do them on multibuy offers frequently. I use the silver letter/number sticker sheets to.add the year on the spine and keep them on a bookshelf where o can get to them.easy.

The self adhesive ones I have from 15 years ago have lost their stick now. I'd recommended the slip in ones. I still print a lot of photos but it's partly due to digital paranoia!

I also use the freeprints app on my phone, i get 45 6x4 prints a month and just pay a couple of pounds for the P&P.

Thanks for the suggestions! I’ve got a lot of photos I want to get printed so shall check out the deals for a bulk order then I intend to keep up with printing recent photos by using FreePrints or the like.

I have (a lot more) photos stored on external hard drive but it’s not the same as actually having a physical album of some sort to look through - I still love flicking through my parents’ albums from when I was a child!
