Looking for some winter sun. Happy to go long haul but need to keep it cheap!
Anyone been anywhere nice in Jan? It's for big birthdays. Not taking kids.
We like relaxing, some sight seeing, nice beaches and eating- but are veggie somewhere that we can eat!
Thanks

Have a look at the Thomas Cook website. We've just booked Lanzarote for end Dec - Jan. it was very reasonable. hopefully it'll be nice!

Re pp. I haven’t a veggie in the canaries, and it was very omelette oriented.

How hot do want? I'd suggest Asia if you want cheap- India or Thailand both good for veggies.
Gambia is closer and no jet lag. Canaries aren't guaranteed warm enough for me in January.

If budget stretches I cannot recommend Sri Lanka highly enough I'm not veggie but everyone is really accommodating so won't be a problem, or Goa as India is good for vegetarians. The US is ok for veggie in big cities. Never done the canaries since dd went veggie but in main hotels I'm sure they cater, but expect more difficulty in restaurants, tortilla every night it was in mainland Spain.

Asia - Malaysia has some stunning beaches or Bali?

Caribbean Cruise?

Dubai?
