Do you have blinds instead of curtains?
no matter which type or direction they are, please go outside and see how much you can be seen by passersby.

Blinds are very popular in my corner of London and when it starts getting dark, you put the light on and I can see everything (yes, No47. everything).

I don't intentonally look in windows when I'm walking the hounds but you basically invite me to!

We have blinds, they are always completely shut though so definitely can't see in (I have checked). Do you mean when they are slit open or just when lifted up?

ZanyMobster · 16/10/2018 19:54

Maybe they are happy for everyone to look in Grin

I have thick, fully lined roman blinds and a long drive. You can’t see anything.

mydogishot · 16/10/2018 19:56

Sort of halfway between closed and open!
maybe they do want people to look in!

I frequently get home after dark when the lights are on and the blinds closed. So yes, sort of.

ZanyMobster · 17/10/2018 15:59

Ah yes, I have told DH that even when half open you can see in, he doesn't care. We have to leave them shut as if we open them the cats like to try and squeeze through the gaps Grin

Fluffyears · 17/10/2018 16:10

If lights are on the blinds get fully shut.

We have blinds and curtains. One look at next door in the dark told me we need both Grin
