Best earplugs for sleeping - pleeeeeease 😴

DH is a massive snorer. That’s a whole other thread. He’s overweight and doctor won’t help him until he loses a few stone. We survive at home as we have a spare bedroom.

HOWEVER.... we have a special anniversary coming up and the 4 of us are having a once in a lifetime holiday. I should be excited but I’m starting to dread it as I don’t know how the 3 of us are going to get any sleep all sharing a hotel room. For obvious reasons we’ve never done it before.

Can anybody out there please recommend decent ear plugs for me and 2 teens.

I would be massively grateful.

Thank you

Wax type plugs are best. Boots do a good one.

Thanks Buster - will have a search

The best in the world are Laser Lites. They're pink and yellow. Get them on Ebay in bulk.

My DH is much much better now (stopped smoking a few years into marriage which made a dramatic difference) but I still wear them. Love them.

Moldex spark plugs for me. Amazon have a trial pack with verious different brands and sizes for around £3, worth trying a few out.

Quies are my go to ear plug, though have to say nothing will block out the sound of a good snorer.

I found the solution to my problem accidentally over the summer. DH and I were on holiday with our 2 DC's and both DH and DS are very loud snorers. DD and I were slowly going nuts so went to a pharmacy where we were staying (USA) and begged for help in either shutting them up or knocking us out.
She gave me a bottle of Melatonin. Honestly changed my life. First the first time in many years I'm able to sleep with DH without his snoring keeping me awake.
Of course the downside is you can't get the stuff in the UK so I have to mail order it or get friends to bring it back.

If you can get it in the country you're off too might be worth a try for you?

I use the laser lites too, get them from Amazon. I didn't get on with wax ones, woke up with them tangled in my hair!
