We are on holiday, my hubby doesn't drink which doesn't bother me, IV had four drinks spread throughout the day, we are back at hotel rooms on to have a rest and get ready for the evening, he has just said to kids mum is pissed leave her alone, because I'm snoozing. it's the first time ever I'm raging at him for being a non drinker!! Am I unreasonable??

I'm confused? Are you annoyed at your husband for telling your kids you're drunk or are you annoyed that he doesn't drink?

Ah I hate people like this if someone has to comment on your drinking or state your in 9/10 your worse for wear. I remember my parents getting smashed and then creating a horrible atmosphere still upsets me now

Definitely not that he doesn't drink, we've been together 20 years, am just annoyed he said that to kids when I'm actually happy to have very little to drink on my holiday due to his teetotalness.

Not the case at all Anita IV had 2 all inclusive watered down cocktails and two tiny glasses of prosecco.

I can’t say whether or not you’re pissed but I do have a friend whose boyfriend makes snide remarks to other people about her being drunk when she’s had a glass or two and is fine, albeit wouldn’t drive. I think with him it’s a moral superiority thing (although he’s often drinking too!) Highly annoying.

I'm really not!!! Im really pissed off because I drink hardly anything on hols because he doesn't drink and I'm still getting snide comments!!

Making snide comments about you in front of the children is never, ever OK. Make this clear to him.
