Hello, I've recently stopped breastfeeding and moved to formula and I've noticed my LO's fontanelle is significantly more sunken.. he doesn't like drinking water and I don't want to overfeed with formula.. any suggestions?

Just keep offering and eventually He'll get used to it. It might be worth trying in a bottle before a cup if he accepts a bottle, or making it the same temp as his milk.

I was told to water down milk a little bit but if you don't like that give him watery alternatives like cucumber, watermelon, soup, courgettes etc.
There are alternatives for now. It's only learning new tastes.

Great, thank you so much.

Are you giving him enough formula? Milk should still be his main food source at the moment.

I hope so, I try to give him 3 or 4 7oz bottles a day. He eating quite a lot too (porridge, fruit, toast, mashed up meals we eat)..

It takes time, keep offering it and let them see you drinking. DS prefers sharing my water and has got the hang of it.
