Today after I paid for my shopping In my local Tesco I said " thanks for your help" 🤦🏻♀️ not just thank you have nice day day, or a simple thanks bye! I'm never going back..
A few weeks ago in a restaurant trying hold down a child trying to climb out of the high chair and all flustered, the waiter brought are food over and said "enjoy your meal" to which I sang "you tooo" 😬Icouldn't even look at him again when he came over again to clear plates ect.
I once told someone to "have a nice day" after they told me their parent had passed away the day before and after saying" so sorry to hear that" a few times I just awkwardly told them to have a nice day and kicked myself all the way back to the car.
These things happen a lot to me, I don't know why but i always end up muttering utter cringe worthy shite.
