Do taken down threads ever go back up?

I've been wondering for ages, if a thread is taken down to allow mumsnet to look into the poster have any of you ever seen that thread get reinstated?

I've seen loads removed to let them "look behind the scenes" but they never appear again. Surely they aren't all trolls? Have you ever seen one go back to being active?

Not often, occasionally they appear back but more often just go poof

Thanks MarthasGinYard! I have gotten into the habit of unwatching as soon as the mumsnet take down message appeared - now I think I'll hang around a bit longer each time

They are rarely reinstated, but a few are.

But there are a huge number of trolls and total fantastists on here.

I asked HQ to inform me of outcome of one last week which they did.

It was about a cancer diagnoses
