DH had the snip but I'm petrified to stop contraception

Has anyone else managed to get through this?

I just feel that if there was a spontaneous freak un-snipping, it would happen to DH, and if anyone was then to fall pregnant with triplets, it would be me

Doesn’t your dp have to go back for a check after two weeks to confirm that the snip has worked.

Will that make you feel better?

Have him do the follow up test. It's a very reliable form of contraception.

Has he done his follow up specimens to check he is free from sperm?

P.s. it is much longer than 2 weeks before it is confirmed a success (several months/quite a few ejaculations)

Yup, I feel your pain. All clear given here two months ago. I feel more unsure how than I did when I was on the pill and if it continues I’m going to discuss anxiety and statistics with the GP. DH submitted two samples - one went missing which is why I’m anxious, I feel like the second could have too, my luck is also such that it would be at least a twin pg hence the anxiety. Sure this isn’t “normal” though.
