I have to do this next week, and while I have googled it, I'm going off the basis that somebody will have modified a recipe they've read and it's fantastic!

Hopefully I'll have chance to do a trial run, but I'd feel much happier if I knew one of you had been making it for years.

The recipe from Imagination Tree is brilliant. Really does last for months.

This is the one I make regularly, it always turns out good and lasts for ages. If you use the gel food colouring (the stuff that cake decorators use in little tubs rather than the Dr oetker tubes) you get really brightly coloured play dough.

I agree with pp. The imagination tree no cook play dough is always a hit here.

Thank you. No cook is definitely a plus!

I don't suppose you've tried it with gluten-free flour have you?

I've never tried it with gluten free flour but on the play dough page there are dozens of different ideas and recipes - there may be a gluten free recipe.
