It's not British but The Good Place (Netflix) is excellent. Very funny but also meaningful and incredibly clever, great cast. Short 22-ish minute long episodes and 13 episode series, so you can binge quite a lot quite quickly. Don't read too much up about it in advance because it's much better to see first time around without spoilers.
