Cant get a picture on sky. 2 days in a row. keeps coming and going.

have given the dish outside a nudge as that's worked before , but want to make sure before I call someone out.

is it the bad weather affecting the tv, and is anyone else experiencing this?

No, you've got a problem with the kit somewhere. Might be alignment, did you get the windy weather a couple of days back? Nudge it harder in the direction opposite the wind :)

Thanks. Havent put tv on yet but Ill try that, otherwise it costs £60.00 (I think) to call an engineer out.

Your dish needs realigning, you can do the yourself if you know where it should be pointing.

It doesn't necessarily cost OP - I had similar issues, and spoke quite strongly to Sky, the gentleman who was answering the phone somewhere abroad put me through to the "special" helpline (for which read - someone else can talk to this awkward bitch), I spoke to someone in this country not working from a script, they said an engineer can come out for free or I can pay £35 and get 50% discount off my broadband TV and phone if I please please don't leave. Job done - dish checked, new box, and lots of lovely discount! Worth pushing it with them!
