Best lightweight but warm winter coat recommendations

Just that really. Thinking possibly puffa style but not necessarily. Must cover my bum, shower proof and a hood would be great but not essential.

The Asda parka! I LOVE this coat! I wore it all last winter with just a tshirt underneath and it still kept me lovely and warm despite being very lightweight to wear. It's brilliant and for £25 you can't go wrong with it, it definitely rivals more expensive branded coats.

Thanks I'll check out the Asda one. Ideally I wanted something a tad smarter than a parka this time but they are cosy. Will look at ASOS too.
