Yay another royal baby!

They seem like such nice people so I am genuinely happy for them this morning. I was quite excited when I heard the news.

Feel a little bad for Eugenie. A baby is wonderful news, of course, but I wish they would have delayed the confirmation for another week or so while Eugenie was still having her moment in the spotlight.

I was going to say, aren't they headed to some areas where there's Zika? If so she can't go.

I think it will be April not February, I'm due end of Jan and my bump is massive, there's no way she's nearly six months gone from the pictures of her last week!

Ah a new baby is always a wonderful thing.

I am so happy for the couple- especially Harry, he is my favourite out of the lot of them.

He has always looked like fun, someone you could enjoy a beery night out with!

Also, after everything he has been through at a young age- parents divorce and of course, the death of his mother- he totally deserves all the happiness in the world!

I used to be as slim as Meghan with very strong and and didn't show at all until I was about 24 weeks with my first. Now I just look about 24 weeks pregnant all the time.

awwww, that's nice news. Never used to care two straws about the royals but I have mellowed in my old age.

With just having arrived in Australia there would be a lot of speculation if she was showing a bit/avoiding alcohol/avoiding Fiji altogether so it's the best time to announce it with the wedding out of the way.

How lovely. I agree that once she was at the wedding there was a lot of speculation and they decided to come clean. I am sure Eugenie was delighted to have this news shared at her wedding. Why wouldn't any reasonable person be glad of the news of a baby wedding or no wedding?

Now I don’t feel so silly about working out this morning on the bus to work that there’s probably a 50% chance the baby will have blue eyes and wondering what it will look like

I think by announcing it now there is a week of paper headlines before the Invictus Games start.

Harry will be really keen that whilst it's on its them attending that which is getting headlines rather than speculation. It's something that he is so so passionate about, he would want it to be about the veterans achievements not about their private matters.

Blimey - well spotted, mn! Eugenie is hopefully an adult and got married in a different day to this announcement, can't see why she would get playground jealous at more happy news.

Well it would mean she is over 5 months, so no she wasn't.

All babies are exciting and special, none more so than any other.
