If you've bought a second-hand phone and you're happy with it, where did you buy it from?

I need a phone and haven't got much money at the moment. I'm thinking about buying a refurbished phone (Samsung S8+ or similar) and then get a sim-only contract, which should work out cheaper. If you have done that, where have you bought your phone from?

o2 website. Bought about 5 phones from there in the past few years. They all looked brand new and worked perfectly.

Ive had one from CEX and one from Music Magpie both absolutely perfect.

Argos through eBay. Samsung J3 for £100.

Giffgaff, been very happy with them.

DH got his from giffgaff. I'm planning on doing the same with mine soon.

We've had a couple from the smartfonestore and some iPhones from the iOutlet.

Cash converters, game and cex all been fine.

iPhone 6s from CEX. Really pleased with it. I could have paid £50-100 less buying through FB or gumtree but I wanted the reassurance that I could return it if it was a bit naff! It was still a very reasonable price anyway.

My last phone was from music magpie. Would recommend them. They're honest about the condition of the phone, communication is good and delivery was speedy.

Had from CEX, ebay and music magpie, all fine. Music magpie was very good when we had an issue with a phone soon after delivery, took it back, no quibble at alll.

Looked at giffgaff & music magpie but they didn’t have what I wanted at the time. Sold my old phone to giffgaff though - might have got more on eBay but couldn’t be arsed.

Also had good experience with music magpie - accidentally bought wrong Samsung phone for DH & they refunded without quibble
