I’m strangely fascinated by her and I can’t work out why she is sooo popular.

She’s warm and kind of funny, and aspirational. I think it’s a harmless fad and will fizzle out as quickly as it blew up.

Personally, although I always want my home to be cleaner and tidier than it is, I don’t aspire to clean like her or hoard products or have quite so many blingy house accessories (even though I am from Essex).

Just googled and she's someone who cleans and flogs shit on Instagram. She has a million followers, bizarre. Her house is so common.

I find her fascinating too. She's fun and cheerful. I wonder if some of the appeal is that it's not too expensive to join in. Some flash and zoflora isn't as pricey as l'occitane and the white company.

I just watched a cleaning hack that was literally just cleaning. There was no hack. Why are 100k+ people watching this woman clean things that aren’t dirty?

That’s a good point Nuggetsandwich. Most “influencers” I come across are usually white and middle class and very affluent. Although they may be aspirational, not many people can actually join in with the big houses and expensive wardrobes etc etc. Mrs Hinch is way more relatable for a lot of people.

Her Instagram page looks like the same photo over and over again. Everything in her house is grey.

And I don't get her cleaning "hacks" either. Surely everyone has a basket of cleaning products??? Maybe I'm not her target audience cos I just don't get it.

I've only heard of her on MN, and haven't bothered clicking on any threads about her until now. So she's all about cleaning tips? Nope, not interested.

They aren’t really tips, you just watch her clean things.

I'm fascinated that she cleans things that are already clean. It is far away from how I clean my house. Although, I have been inspired to tidy and organise my house.

The only cleaning shows I enjoy are Kim and Aggie ones!

I've unfollowed her. I don't understand the appeal. She was quite funny at first but she's a one trick pony. How many times can you watch someone cleaning a sink saying it "it literally smells amazing" and "yes maaaate!"

I find the way she's encouraged people to stick pile stuff bizarre. Also her attitude to mixing products is unhealthy.

I too thought she had edit her pics to be black and white. Thought it was tips etc but a thing I read was literally spray on cleaner then wipe it off. She was on This Morning the other week. Not sure I get it. It's not exactly Kim and Aggie.
