Esta query

Hi

So I applied for an Esta but am now doubting myself whether what I thought was a zero in the passport number is actually the letter O.
My country gives passport numbers as a mixture of letters and numbers and it's really hard if not impossible to tell.
The Esta has been approved. Do you think I can just leave it or could I come across difficulties at immigration?

They wouldn't have approved it if it wasn't a valid passport with all details matching

Okay great, thank you

It's really difficult because I really cannot tell 100 % if it's a zero or an O!

I think you should be fine. I remember when I applied for Esther on my green card and it was stopped. So I think if there was a problem, you would not have been approved.

I wouldn’t try turning up and trying to blag through US immigration... They do evrrything completely by the book.

Such as checking that the passport number you've provided is valid and matches the other details you've provided before approving the ESTA.

In most fonts the letter O is rounder and a zero 0 is taller and thinner... does that help you to tell whether you were right?
