h and I have been separated for 3 years. I started mediation in a view to start a divorce a few weeks ago. Usually I take the kids there or he comes to pick them here and take them (about 3 hr drive) every couple of weeks. About 4 weeks ago, I offered to take them but he said he'd come at half term (which was about 6 weeks away at the time. I texted to say OK but I'd be happy to bring them sooner if he wanted - no reply. He's been silent since. (he used to do this to me for days when we were married too without me knowing the reason which was a huge factor in why I left).
So next mediation (first one with both of us) is in November but there has been no comms between us and he recently has not replied to the kid's facetime attempts. It's DD's 9th bday tomorrow and nothing has come. No card or present. By miracle it may arrive tomorrow but I am pretty sure it won't. Why on earth would he take it out the kids if he's angry at me (I guess he's lost control now as I've finally started proceedings) but it's really unfair on them. :(
