question about Amazon

Hi, not sure if this is the right place to ask but do any of you use Amazon and know how to remove a recent order from showing on the home page of Amazon? I've tried hiding the order from orders page and its hidden but its still showing as the 'your recent order' on the home page. I have been searching the internet (Amazon don't seem to have a forum either) not found anything though other then how to hide orders from the order page.

Its DH's birthday present and its a surprise, I've just told him to stay off Amazon but if he does log into it, its going to spoil the surprise. Good job I don't buy anything dodgy from Amazon isn't it? :D

We have our own accounts. Saves me having to look at suggestions for F1 books etc.

Using hide order should properly hide it. You should maybe message amazon for help if it doesn't do so. Other option is change your password so he can't get in (more drastic!)

Is it showing up because you have looked at it? You can turn this off if it’s showing items you have recently looked at by going to “your name’s amazon”, your browsing history. You can switch it off completely or delete individual items .

No, its actually on the page when you log on to Amazon, there is a box on the side which says 'Your recent order' I've deleted it from the 'Your orders' page, but it's still there on the front page, which is strange :\
