I’m making myself a bacon sarnie and looking forward to a peaceful day as everyone is out and about.
Cooking a roast for later as DS1 is coming over with his girlfriend.
Hoping to cook some meals for a busy week ahead and possibly a quick gym session
Then tonight it’s that horrible Sunday evening bit getting ready that I hate

hobnobsaremyfavourite · 14/10/2018 15:41

But be warned you may creak a bit tomorrow Grin

@hellokittymania I'm assuming a typo but if not, how on earth did brocolli stop your card? Hmm

Roystonv · 14/10/2018 16:34

I wanted to know how broccoli stopped the Manila visit too! Glad someone else asked.

lucysmam · 14/10/2018 16:37

We got the coat & several bits for my Rainbows and Guides.

Something I bought must have been missed or reduced - less than £15 for the coat, tights for both girls and mascara for me in Primarni Shock. Not complaining mind, it meant I could buy dd the Halloween costume she wanted instead of try to cobble something together for her to wear :)

I think kittymania doesn't have English as her first language

serbska · 14/10/2018 16:39

Cooked brunch for everyone.
Went to a gym class.
Chilling on the sofa with a book and the cat.
Going to have a clear out of the linen cupboard in a bit (exciting times!).
We’re going out for dinner.

applecatchers36 · 14/10/2018 16:45

Went to church this morning
Then cooked bacon sandwich and soup lunch, on a tray for DH who was laid up in bed
Wrote up a couple of work reports this afternoon Halo as weather atrocious and not really wanting to leave the house
Need to finish putting all the laundry away / get ready for school / work
Then think we might get an Indian takeaway as a treat this evening Smile

Been another boring day! Watched Lion King, played some games, watched Big Bang Theory. Now waiting for Doctor Who and that will be the highlight of the week.

Pascha · 14/10/2018 16:49

We did the local scarecrow trail this morning. Hot dogs and fete cupcakes for lunch and Tesco to finish. Now home watching crap on Netflix with tea.

Kemer2018 · 14/10/2018 17:04

Drove 40 miles home from mums at 9.30 after cocktails and dinner last night.
Went to town with dd and oh to get some essentials from primark. Ate at Subway.
Nipped to Lidl for chicken and whilst waiting for roast dinner to cook, I've ironed uniform, hoovered, and cleaned our loo carpet where the pipe broke.
Watching blue planet 2.

festiveissues · 14/10/2018 17:06

Decluttering and tidying
Cleaning the bathroom
This aft just sitting feeding ds who is poorly
Looking forward to dinner

hellokittymania · 14/10/2018 18:46

Barclays! Barclays! Not broccoli. Sorry, I’m visually impaired and I use dictation and it often comes out with very weird things.

stayingaliveisawayoflife · 14/10/2018 18:47

I did the Royal Parks Half Marathon today. I now ache and am washing all my soaking wet clothes. I think this may be my first and last half marathon! I was told this one was the best and has great goodies including socks! I was cold and soaked and didn't get any socks!!!

Will take my medal into school tomorrow to show my class.

hobnobsaremyfavourite · 14/10/2018 19:25

Well done stayingalive

Had a thoroughly boring day. Rain, school work, kids watched a film and played PS4 too much, rowed with ds2 over the PS4, cooked a roast. Now the weekend’s over and I’m feeling a bit maudlin.

PearlandRubies194 · 14/10/2018 20:05

Church this morning, then the park and home to carve the pumpkins.

Cleaned everywhere, laundry, ironed and kept away whilst my youngest played next door.

Halloween tea for the little ones, then homework/bath/story. I’m going to put a colour on my hair now then settle to watch The Cry.

Sundays go too fast!

longtompot · 14/10/2018 22:23

@hellokittymania ahhh glad you cleared that up. Hope you didn't think I was being rude or unkind by asking, it just tickled me and I wondered just what else brocolli could be Smile

hellokittymania · 14/10/2018 22:27

Don’t worry, dictation comes up with all kinds of very funny things. Not mine, but I was reading a message from a friend and it had tactile beer. I have no idea what that was called, and we both thought it was so funny. In the end, he forgot what he was trying to say. 😂

I also speak many other languages so I think I have 11 different keyboards now on my iPad. Sometimes I start dictating and I don’t realize that it’s another language so my messages come out very funny.
