Sewing, knitting, crochet, spinning, English Paper Piecing. I just need to be busy, haha. I sew mainly for my little girl.

Do reading and walking the dogs count as hobbies? If not I don't think I have any Blush

Magmatic80 · 13/10/2018 20:53

EPP is a method of patchwork for quilts.

Zumba
Steampunk events - it's great to dress up
Karaoke
Salsa dancing
learning to use my sewing machine

Ooh I really fancy metal detecting. How did you get started? Hobby wise, writing was my main hobby.

GoodbyeSummer · 13/10/2018 22:06

I just do photography and sometimes turn the images into not very good digital art. I've taken to doing still life photography because I love being able to set up my own scene and control the lighting and I don't have to leave the house or drag my family around old ruins or hold them up on family days out!

Witchend · 13/10/2018 23:24

Sewing (mostly costumes for amateur dramatics now)
Tennis
Writing/Reading
Thinking that I'll do something more energetic tomorrow.

I do the last with amazing enthusiasm.

PrivateParkin · 13/10/2018 23:30

I play and watch a lot of tennis.
I love watching and reading about old films ie of the 1930s/40s/50s.
I read a lot and do a bit of baking (not as much as I used to).
I would really love to take up sewing again. - I used to be quite crafty but haven't done much since having DS. A sewing machine seems a big investment for something I might end up not having much time for, (but I am quite keen, l love the idea of making my own stuff out of decent fabric!).

I read and dog walk too. And I like walking generally.
Listening to music.
I also exercise around 4 - 6 times per week.
And I like drinking a lot, but limit it to weekends.
I used to like films a lot, but don't get much time for that now.
I sometimes like talking to DH, but not that often!

I went to a steampunk exhibition where I live a few years ago. It was fab, and people's dress up was highly entertaining!

Running
Swimming
Cycling
Wainwright Bagging

I hate being stuck indoors but if I have to be then I love to read
