Confused...
am not currently on any contraception. Took myself off to family planning clinic this afternoon (or whatever they’re called now 😂) and got prescribed desogestrel. I’ve never been in this type of pill before.
Nurse said I can take it now (I’m just over half way through my cycle) and I’ll be protected after 2 days. However the leaflet says I need to start in the first 5 days of my cycle to be protected.
So I bimble off to the NHS website and that says the same as the nurse...
so can I take it now or not? Anyone else had this?
