What week is your October half term?

Two neighbouring counties here have different half term weeks this year, one is
Mon 22nd Oct - Fri 26th Oct
And the other is
Mon 29th Oct - Fri 2nd Nov.

I just wanted to see what week is more common, so I know what week is better to visit nice places (legoland etc) with pre-schoolers as it might be quieter!

Our October break is w/c 15th (I'm in Scotland)

Now. Back on the 22nc.

Seems to be very varied this year. Ours is w/c 29th Oct , where my dps live is w/c 15th Oct.

Hampshire is w/c 22nd, Wiltshire is w/c 29th.

Both those weeks
No idea why they need a two week half term!

But another secondary school in the same borough is w/c 15 October, for two weeks!

I'm in Lancashire and ours is w/c 22nd.

w/c 22nd (although some of that is INSET days and w/c 29th. We've got 2 weeks in total.

Ours is 2 weeks, starting on the 15th...

Shetland 2.5weeks! Started yesterday, kids go back on 31st October.

We don’t get any days off in September & having a long holiday enables everyone to leave and go to Tenerife for sun! Winter is long & the kids go to and from school in the dark

Highland here. We got ours on Friday (12th) back on the 29th. Woohoo!

We're in the middle of a fortnight half term (Scotland)

Hampshire 19th - 29th

22 October for dd. Some of the other local schools have half term next week though.

W/c 29/10, back Nov 6 after inset day

We finish Friday 19 th for a week state schools
I’m in an independent and we get and extra three days !

Same here: gateshead , break up Friday 19th. Newcastle breaks up the week after. It’s a right pain!

We also have different easter holidays.

Break up 19th, go back 29th (Liverpool)
