Any dentists around?

Quick question, I've just noticed that 2yo DS's second front tooth (lateral incisor?) is growing through behind his incisor. It's definitely not an extra tooth. What's this likely to mean for him?

Obviously we've made a dentist appointment, I just couldn't find anything on Google about it!

I’m not a dentist so not what you asked for, but DSIS had this when she was little and so did I, her teeth grew in straight after she lost milk teeth and mine didn’t I needed braces.

Thanks! I've managed to have a good look now and it's actually a whole extra tooth Shock

Probably means nothing more than a tooth growing in the wrong place
Assuming he’s not in pain/ high temperature and it’s not tender or swollen around it
Best to get it checked of course

Don’t forget he is growing all the time and as his mouth gets bigger the space becomes available for the tooth to move into a better position
I’d bet it’s nothing dramatic
