You look tired

I am so sick of people saying this to me. Yesterday was actually a new one “you look terrible, are you full of a cold” I was really well!

Nearly 40 and do look a bit better with makeup on but I don’t love wearing it.

I don’t say to anyone you look ill or tired, I tend to keep my mouth shut.

Do people say this to you?

Seriously though, only very close friends and family would say that to me and it would be because they are concerned. If I saw a colleague who looked tired I'd never say something to their face. That is just rude.

People allays tell me when I am not wearing makeup. So I just say, 'nope not tired, this is just my face without makeup'.

Why should people comment? I'd never tell someone they look ill.
