Does anyone else's sciatica get worse in the winter?

Have started to get that niggly, dragging/heavy feeling again after having the warmer months of being pain free.

Could dehydration be contributing? Nw that the colder weather is here is the heating on? I find my back is worst when I dehydrated.

My aunt's does and frim what i've heard many people find that the colder, the worse it gets. Also as pp said, dehydration can also be a factor.

Mine did. Very painful in winter and sometimes almost pain free in summer. I had surgery to correct it though and have been trouble free ever since.

Hope yours doesn't get too bad Reaa.

My disc always slips in the winter, never in the summer.

Me too. Have a hit water bottle permanently on my back in the winter.

Will be stocking up on heat patches, glad it's not only me who finds it worse with cold.
