Advice needed please

Hi, I'm looking for some advice. I have booked my DD in for her 8 week vaccination in a few weeks time. However, I have failed to realise that it is my partners best friends wedding the next day. It is an adult only event, so we had arranged for my in laws to have DD for the evening. However, I don't think I'll be able to leave DD the day after her jabs, especially as I've heard babies are particularly grumpy after the 8 week ones? I cannot reschedule the jabs as they are onky held one day a week. I think my partner will hit the roof when I tell him this, I know that he will say I'm being selfish, DD will be fine with MIL and I'm being a typical FTM.

Before I have this conversation, am I being unreasonable here? How would you go about broaching this topic?

Just delay them until the next week, they don't need to be done at exactly 8 weeks. My dd didn't get her 8 week vaccinations until 10 weeks because of the Christmas holidays and the surgery was closed on the day they run the baby clinic for 2 weeks in a row. The 12 and 16 week ones would be delayed by the same amount of time.
