Massive hypochondriac here!!! HELP! What are these spots on DD's neck? ***Pic attached

Please can someone help?

I'm hoping it could be heat rash as she's a sweaty kid. Incase it's not clear in the pictures, this is the name of her neck.

She does have some red coloured birth marks there since birth but these are raised and there's lots of them. I have no idea how long they've been there as it's not somewhere I'd normally ever see (as her hair covers it. Just randomly caught a glimpse when she tipped her head forward earlier. She's 2.

If they are raised, she may have scratched a bit there. Check her nails are trimmed.

My DD has the same permenant red marks here, I was shocked when I noticed them but I think it’s quite common.

My first thought was heat rash.
Does she seem well in herself?

Have you noticed scratching? Check her for head lice... They can cause irritation like that at the hairline / nape of neck (sorry).

Birth mark? My dd has similar

DD has a birth mark there and when she’s hot it turns into raised red spots.

I get eczema around there and nowhere else on my body, can’t quite tell from the photos but could it be that?

Maybe her shampoo has irritated her? I get rashy itchy redness here depending on shampoo.

I also get eczema and psoriasis around that area, often when I’ve left hair damp.

It's on both sides of her head, not just the one side, so covers a fairly large area. I'm guessing that's unlikely to be a birth mark. Especially since it's so many individual raised bumps. She's completely well in herself. Grumpy though but I'm beginning to think that's her personality

She does get some flaky patches of dry skin on the top of her scalp so maybe it could be some sort of eczema?

She definitely hasn't been scratching.

Stork mark/salmon patch. Really common. My dd had it for years and my sister did too. Hers used to get worse on her forehead when she was angry
