So, gathering of the clans next summer. 3 generations to cater for. Has to be during school holidays, likely July.
Need to find somewhere in Europe, no more than 2.5 HR flight from UK. Hopefully not too hot (GPs don't cope well with heat or hills).
Looking for big villa or 2 villas close by.
Beach to keep the kids happy and hopefully a bit of life/culture to entertain the grown ups.
There will be 7 adults, and and 7 kids (aged 1 to 16).
Budget hopefully under £2500 for the week.
Any ideas of where we should go? Spain is a favourite, but worried about the heat. Have been thinking Il de Re in France?
