In Dubai for a couple of days. Any recommendations for great buys at the souk?

I always loved visiting the Spice Souk in Bur Dubai

There is a nice middle eastern restaurant in the basement of the Wafi Mall next to the Raffles hotel. The sky bar at the 4 points Sheraton on Sheikh Zayeed Road always used to be nice, as is the Sky Bar up in the Raffles itself (although it may now be a Japanese restaurant instead of the bar)

If you want cheap and cheerful fake designer clothes head to Karama. I have never bought anything there but was interesting to look at
