Dressing table

I would really appreciate some MN help finding a really nice dressing table!

I live in a fairly traditional Victorian house and we have rearranged our bedrooms so that I now need a dressing table in my bedroom. I've had a look online but can only really find really quite traditional pieces of furniture when i would like something a little bit more modern. However, to make this trickier, my husband does not like glass / gloss units as they become easily smeared / dirty as a result of fingerprints/ dust etc.

Budget wise, I am happy to pay a reasonable amount but obviously the cheaper the better without compromising on the quality.

So far, I have seen this dressing table in Next and it seems to be the best compromise (although still very traditional imo):

I really like this one too from Graham and Green but it is really expensive (probably too much money as the stool isn't even included at this price):

Does anyone have any ideas? I'm due to give birth in less than 2 weeks and would love to get this sorted before the baby makes an appearance!

I'd really appreciate any ideas / suggestions that you have!

TIA

Do you like mid-century stuff? There are loads of nice, simple G Plan, Ercol etc dressing tables on eBay.
