We've stayed in a Premier Inn for the first time in ages, family room for dh, me and two dc. We got in late and dc feel asleep straight away and woke up now. Dh seems to got some sleep but I was so uncomfortable. The beds really hard and I'm stiff and I woke up several times in the night from hotel noise.
They do a good night guarantee but as I think it's only me that slept badly would you complain?

We had a drunk shouting in the street outside once who woke us all up and complained and got our money back

My father in law complained for similar reasons as you and got his money back. I thought he was ridiculous 🤷‍♀️ Hotels can be noisy Confused

I did, 2 nights for a wedding. The towels were threadbare and one had a giant hole in it, noise from lorries all night, uncomfortably hot, went down for breakfast at 08.30 and there was no sausages. Considering we paid like £9 extra for breakfast each just before and they didn’t make us aware of this, my husband doesn’t eat eggs so was a pretty boring breakfast for him!

I complained expecting £25iah refund or even just the breakfasts but got the whole amount back for the two nights! Couldn’t believe it. I only actually complained as we have stayed PI a few times before and loved it and felt their standards had really slipped

I have and got my money back. Gave me a room with the air conditioning unit outside my window. It was pretty noisy, that hum all day and night. And they had no other rooms available. I slept on and off but i had decided when i saw the unit i was gonna get a refund.

And i did. Make sure you tell them when you check out as they do ask you.

Well I wish I had now!
Trouble is I don't think I have ever had a good night sleep in a hotel ever, so it wouldn't occur to me to complain.
