Ok so in April, with help from the wonderful MN ladies I chucked out my abusive XP. We had a joint IVA and I contacted the company immediately and told them I wanted to separate the IVA’s and have my own. I also told them I couldn’t afford it on my own.
Since then I have been in contact several times, given them my financial information. And rang repeatedly trying to resolve it. They kept on sending letters to my ex at my address and emailing me for his whereabouts. Ffs the police were involved at the end of our relationship and I told them this.
Today I get home and find a termination of IVA delivered. Rings them up to say what is happening with mine and they say well you didn’t pay. No I bloody didn’t and I’ve told you repeatedly why!! They then say they can’t guarantee that they can give me my own Iva and that it “looks bad”.
I’m a single mum, I lost my job in August, I’ve found a new job but much lower money and I’m claiming universal credit. I’m mortgaged and I don’t know whether I’m going to made bankrupt.
Has anyone been through this and if so help!
