Right you lovely lot I need a coat!

Decided to go back to a job that leaves me stood outdoors for long periods of time in a very exposed area. Basically it's bloody freezing.

Decided I need to treat myself to a decent coat. I'm currently rather loving the North Face Gotham but can't shake the feeling that I might be paying for the name more than anything else.

Any recommendations please? sadly I can't afford a Canada Goose

No update on coat but also treat yourself to a good merino base layer, then an affordable fleece plus coat and you’ll be toasty in anything.

Tog24 have some warm waterproof ones for around £60/80. My mum has one and I'm seriously tempted to steal it. Borrowed it once and it's so warm and cosy!

I've just got this and it's lovely www.naturalcollection.com/shop/thought-aubergine-faye-coat-by-braintree-hemp/ I went up a size so I can add layers when I need to. The hood is not detachable.
