Hi all - going away for a weekend with friends and would like to take a game for the kids to maybe play together - the ages range from 5-12 . My DC are younger end so am wondering if people can suggest a game that the older ones might enjoy too ?
Not sure if realistic!
Thanks

Monopoly empire! Mine are 4,3,12 and 14 and they all love it!

Dobble or Ligretto are both firm favourites in our family for ages 5 to 90!

Uno seems to work (admittedly it’s a card game).

I have dc aged 5-13. Labyrinth is a favourite with all of them. Or bugs in the kitchen.

Or cluedo if the 5 year old reads well (mine isn’t quite there, but the 6 year old, 11 year old and 13 year old like it)

Pirate memory games are good - ask Margaret Grin

Brilliant suggestions thanks and we don’t have many of them already so might get a few more of them in for Christmas too !
I had no idea there were so many Monopoly types of that Cluedo was still
Around !

Buckaroo, Jenga, Pie Face, Guess Who, Monopoly (be prepared for sore losers and upended boards though with the last one though Grin )

Carcasonne, Catan Junior, Qwirkle all good by us with a similar age range.

Hi,

We made this video outlining our favourite family games to play, if you're into computer games (All PEGI 3).

If interest is strong enough we could do a board game version....
