Well I hope all owls found some enjoyment at Christmas 😃

All 15 of my guests have gone home so a quiet pink household has been resumed, I love them all but that many people in one place there is no escape and Pinkrabbit was a bit over whelmed too.

The dc have gone with mil for a sleepover so me and dh are going to have a relaxed night cuddled up on the sofa watching trainspotting 2, drink champagne and eat the chilli dh is making me.

@BeekyChitch, my mums been sharing her painkillers so now I'm feeling fuzzy and ill rather than ill and sore. So a mild if disorienting improvement. I think it's the law to get bigger over Christmas though so I'd not worry about that

It was my Mums birthday today so her and Dad are over from France visiting us, which is lovely and the dc enjoy them being here so much.

Hi all, not much going on here. Dh is driving me mad now , he has been off nearly a month ! I think he will go back to work on Monday, but suggested he did a few half days before getting stuck into full days. Although saying that, he has done extremely well and feels fine. Just three more days of injections to give him and that's over, although I don't mind that bit ! Can't believe it's all done and dusted now. He is back driving and been to a couple of footi games. Tonight he has gone to his pub quiz , although he is driving others so cant drink !
Our Xmas stuff will have to stay up a bit longer as all the boxes etc are up in our roof. For the moment I don't want him climbing up there, but it's not important for the moment and it's a minor thing in the scheme of things.

Hey all. Currently sitting watching youtube and planning to go make food in a few mins. Got a deadline for some uni assignments on the 6th that need to be done and then an exam on the 7th. Slept most of today away because I couldn't sleep last night and can't justify the lost hours so tonight is watch my youtube video and then plan my work then maybe out some food on and then package the things I've sold recently and then back to working. But I need to change my light bulb first because the disco one isn't conducive to working and while soothing while relaxing makes me dizzy while I read.

How is everyone else doing/been?

Oh pink lardy cake is scrumptious. You can just pull a chunk off and eat it. It's so sticky and sweet, dee - licious

It's very very yummy! Especially when made to my secret recipe. I'd make it at uni and it'd be gone really fast. It's a regional thing though once people taste it they rarely hate it!

If it’s a regional thing maybe that’s why I’ve never heard it, I’ve always been in the south east so maybe it’s not a thing here. Granny never made it anyway, I’m blaming granny for my lack of lardy cake knowledge
