Those trousers are now etched on my mind.... I bet the workers who made them were equally mystified.

userblah · 12/10/2018 09:59

Do you feel bad if someone reading this has these? I don't think it's nice

PhilomenaButterfly · 12/10/2018 10:05

the illegitimate love children of cousin It. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

BrightonGallery7 · 12/10/2018 10:09

Is the discordant voice genuine?

🤣😂🤣😂

morningconstitutional2017 · 12/10/2018 11:37

I'm almost speechless as these are possibly the most hilarious trousers I've ever seen. I doubt the poor misguided designer was looking for that response. I thought that harem pants were the biggest fashion crime of all.

665TheNeighbourOfTheBeast · 12/10/2018 14:43

Thinking J.L. can't be that far out there on their own I googled
"knitted trousers" turns out theyre a thing. Not a nice thing, but a thing

But make it " Mohair knitted trousers" and....... It's a horror show !

dingdongdigeridoo · 12/10/2018 14:47

Mohair knitted trousers? My bum cheeks feel itchy just thinking about them. They can’t be comfortable to sit in all day surely.

elifant · 12/10/2018 19:02

Dingdong, it's the price you pay to look cool.

thetemptationofchocolate · 13/10/2018 10:18

I'm agog at the mohair trousers. I can't imagine who wears this stuff!

Heuschrecke · 13/10/2018 10:29

I've just Googled mohair knitted trousers. There appears to be a company called FARFETCH that sell a number of them. Far fetched indeed - especially the prices Grin

userblah · 13/10/2018 12:13

Me! I wear this stuff! Stop slating them! I'd never come on here and take the piss out of clothes you would wear!

KeiTeNgeNge · 13/10/2018 12:25

I wonder if any brave mumsnetter will go and try them on - and photograph the results...Grin

userblah · 13/10/2018 12:28

Do any of you read PP?! Do you care that you're totally taking the piss out of the kind of clothes I wear (and others)?! Angry

Gingernaut · 13/10/2018 13:06

And as for that ghastly M&S pink dress, I have it on good authority that a MNer bought it and wore it to a MN London meet-up just for shitz and giggles - brave lady!

That was me. 😳

Thank goodness it's a rarity. (knitted trousers!)
Becca19962014 · 13/10/2018 13:07

user if you like wearing them and enjoy them then fine, obviously people do so. Go ahead. No ones stopping you, anymore than on any other threads which similarly make fun of other clothes or things people buy.

There's things I buy, wear and do, for that matter which are mocked on MN and, worse, in real life where it's not as simple as just hiding a thread. Just ignore it.

userblah · 13/10/2018 13:24

You're right becca, I should ignore it. I just can't! It's like being back at school with people slagging off what you're wearing! Horrible

Becca19962014 · 13/10/2018 13:36

It is, but a lot of MN is like that. I just hit the hide button - wish I had one for real life!

Becca19962014 · 13/10/2018 13:37

Sorry that sounds rather patronising, not my intention!

Of course I know that people have a different opinion on things.,....I just often think it comes across as really bitchy. That doesn't mean I'm right, I'm just expressing my opinion and how shit it makes me feel that women are destroying others who wear stuff that they don't like. I personally wouldn't do that, we should stick together and be grateful that we all look different

BrightonGallery7 · 13/10/2018 13:57

Oh fgs. The thread police.

BrightonGallery7 · 13/10/2018 14:01

What strikes me about the dreadful camel knitwear is the fact that even on a very thin model, it looks horrendous.

And why is her head not shown? Was it a case of even the model being too embarrassed to be associated with the trousers?
