They look like a rejected Star Wars costume idea.

AnotherPidgey · 11/10/2018 14:35

Irrelevant but the beige/ nude trousers comment reminds me of an awkward tankini combination that someone wore regularly to the pool... pleasant multi coloured patterned top, plain beige bottoms. It was so hard not to keep double checking that she hadn't lost her bottoms in the pool as her lower half did look naked through the water. Blush

Those trousers are a very special kind of hideous!

elifant · 11/10/2018 14:40

Very good undermajor Grin
Had to check if it was April Fool's Day or not.

GallicosCats · 11/10/2018 15:41

Does that trump the infamous pink M&S polyester bin liner dress?

SecretWitch · 11/10/2018 15:45

I have no fashion sense but can say those are meant to be worn by elves. I do fancy the roll neck sweater.

Troels · 11/10/2018 16:00

MrsPear the toddler knitted trousers like that were very popular in the cloth nappy crowd in California when my Dd (age 13) was a baby. They were pure wool and went over the nappy, no plastic pants needed.

CigarsofthePharoahs · 11/10/2018 16:09

This is what Hobbits wore in the 1970's.

UpstartCrow · 11/10/2018 16:10

The trousers are so bad they managed to distract me from the shoes.

QueenOfTheAndals · 11/10/2018 16:10

ONE-HUNDRED AND TWENTY POUNDS for that?? It isn't worth 120 pence!

MrsGollach · 11/10/2018 16:20

On the plus side, you'd get a fair few dishcloths out of them once you were fed up of them.

Dontfeellikeamillenial · 11/10/2018 16:22

Bet they're comfy

Earlywalker · 11/10/2018 16:24

£120 to look like a cross between Jesus and your nan made you trousers in the wrong size? Dear lord!

silkpyjamasallday · 11/10/2018 16:26

Haha I like them, I already have a knitted coordinating set of culottes and jumper though so I won't be purchasing. Comfy as hell, don't knock them till you've tried them I say.

VelociraptorRex · 11/10/2018 16:28

Shock surely they're not meant to be worn out of he house, where actual people might SEE them?!

ToadOfSadness · 11/10/2018 16:33

Thank goodness it's a rarity. (knitted trousers!)

If they spend the next 6 months on the adverts at the bottom of my page I will blame you for posting that link not myself for clicking it AngryGrin

Heuschrecke · 11/10/2018 16:38

"The trousers are so bad they managed to distract me from the shoes."

I have the most perfect pair of shoes to wear with that outfit, UpstartCrow. Well, let me just make myself absolutely clear, I personally don't have the most perfect pair of shoes, but I saw these in Vogue a couple of years ago - IIRC they're Gucci!!

And as for that ghastly M&S pink dress, I have it on good authority that a MNer bought it and wore it to a MN London meet-up just for shitz and giggles - brave lady!

Thank goodness it's a rarity. (knitted trousers!)
MiddlingMum · 11/10/2018 17:30

Good grief. (That's the second time I've said that on MN this week.)

TwitterQueen1 · 11/10/2018 17:39

Oh my word.....

I could crochet something similar if anyone's interested? £300 should do it... Grin Grin

florenceheadache · 11/10/2018 17:43

Proper belly laugh. Ideal for Halloween. Sadly they are not available in my size.

ALemonyPea · 11/10/2018 17:45

Alas, they are out of my size. What is a girl to do.

When I opened it, I skim read the title, and thought it read camel toe.

choccyp1g · 11/10/2018 17:52

The shoes are nice though.

Urbanbeetler · 11/10/2018 17:52

They remind me of those bizarre tan so-wide-and-so-short leather trousers m&s did last year. Shudder.

MrsFrTedCrilly · 11/10/2018 17:55

Pass the eye bleach please Envy

AamdC · 11/10/2018 17:58
