Husband says i need to go talk to a dr because i keep getting upset- our four week old has colic/reflux screams day and night. I find i only get upset on the days i am realllly sleep deprived. I dont feel as though theres anything wrong or that i need to speak to gp???

You have a 4 week old baby. It's normal. I remember crying every time I did a night feed and wanting to punch my sleeping husband.

If it continues once you start to get settled then you may have a problem. Try and talk to health visitor just for peace of mind xxx

I second having a chat with your HV, they are a wealth of wisdom and information. Colic / Reflux needs support for all of you.

@motortroll haha i know that feeling - he doesnt even wake up to baby crying and doesnt do any night feeds so i feel like he just doesnt get it xx

@PigletTiggerEeyoreAndRoo my mum is a health visitor too and i talk to her daily - i wouldnt feel worried about talking to someone if i thought there was a problem i just genuinely feel its on the very bad sleep days or when she has relentlessly screamed all day and night xx

In which case if your mum is helping you, I’d see how you go, you can always ask your GP if you feel worried in the future. Sleep deprivation is a form of torture, I think you’re allowed to cry :) Flowers

@PigletTiggerEeyoreAndRoo it really is! Shes worth every second but it sure is tough - first baby is a real shock haha 😬 xx
