Lochia stopping and starting

My lochia flow has been a bit intermittent since giving birth. I have tended to have the odd gush of redder blood each day. Since last night I have had no bleeding at all until about half an hour ago I had another gush. It isn’t enough to fill a pad and in wiping was a mucusy pinkish red. Is it normal for lochia to stop and start like this?

Perfectly normal Smile mine did that for about 12 weeks. Do you feel well in yourself other than the bleeding? No temperature or unusual pain?

Have you been discharged by your MW yet though? May be worth mentioning.

Very normal

I had that last time. Heavy bleeding often corresponded to doing a bit more (long walk etc)

Hi I feel fine in myself. I had sharp after pains but they’ve been barely there over the last couple of days. No temperature or anything. We have the midwives tomorrow when hopefully we will be discharged so I guess there would be no harm mentioning it to them. I’m glad it sounds normal though. Thank you for the replies.

Normal. Went on for about 6 weeks. It would be gone for days and then I'd have another gush, small gush, but still. Usually after doing too much.

Yep as above very stop start. Especially the second time and mine got heavier if I did more like pps. I'm sure all is well but mention it if you're worried.
