I've NC for this (and do regularly), not too sure why though!
DH has been diagnosed with a brain tumour today. Seeing the neuro-oncology team tomorrow who will tell us the plan.
Shit
He's young (ish) 46, I've just started back at university. Our son is only 6
I just feel numb, don't know what else to say, sorry

Oh thank goodness. I lost my husband to GBM (aggressive brain tumour). I’ve been watching this thread and was so afraid for you in case it was the same.

Yoksha · 18/10/2018 16:43

MyGuideJools. Of course you're absolutely right. No brain tumour is good. I got carried away with glee. My cousin's Dd1 who's a young adult recently missed a family wedding due to getting a brain tumour removed and subsequent chemo. It was a bittersweet wedding.

Lovely to hear that it is the best possible news in the circumstances, cheers OP Wine Grin Have a fabulous day tomorrow!

Enjoy your wine!

Lovely news. My dp has had cancer, that wait while you find out is torture. He actually went from being told palliative care to 70% chance of survival (rare presentation initially misdiagnosed) 3 years later he's still here.

Enjoy you day tomorrow you deserve it.

Knittedfairies · 18/10/2018 19:44

Oh how brilliant! I'm so happy for you all - nobody wants a brain tumour but if you're going to have one.

Have a lovely day tomorrow!

butcherswife · 18/10/2018 23:13

So glad it's a good outcome OP. I lost my mum to GBM in July, she was 50.

I hope you have the most lovely day with your DH and DS tomorrow - it's so well deserved xx
